Brief Description

Thailand established the Coordination Center for the Preventive and Corrective Measures of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace to strengthen institutional mechanisms for addressing harassment in professional settings. The center brings together 134 government agencies at the ministry and department levels, as well as state enterprises, all of which have expressed a formal commitment to preventing and responding to workplace sexual harassment. It also developed national guidelines covering prevention strategies, corrective actions, and internal complaint mechanisms. Between 2020 and 2023, 20 cases of sexual harassment or misconduct in the workplace were officially reported.
